Spent my day
fingers in the dirt
awake and dreamin'

I'm still a boy
when in this city
I'm still a child
eyes wide
at every turn

I have to close
these weary eyes
place hands
in the soil

from whence
I came

Where have I been?

I've been keeping as busy as possible I guess
